Text: Fragments from the book The Posthuman by Rosi Braidotti
The performance introduces a posthuman, techno-mediated perspective on the relationship between the animal and the human body. Through movement, sound, and gesture, the performers invite the audience to engage actively, awakening and embodying the animal within. In this shared experience, the audience becomes a co-creator, shaping the performance as a transformative, immersive encounter.
Conceived as an interactive extension of the exhibition The Animal Within, the performance closely engages with several exhibited artworks. Thematically, it draws inspiration from Rosi Braidotti’s The Posthuman.
In this context, the project was developed to contribute to the implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined in the United Nations 2030 Agenda, with a particular focus on SDG 3 – Health and Well-Being, SDG 5 – Gender Equality, and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.
In cooperation with Museum moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien. The project is supported by the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport, the City of Vienna—Culture, and SKE.
