Founding Director Dr. Aleksandra Bajde will present the research paper Creative Ecosystems and Cultural Labour: Youth-Led Practices, Sustainability, and New Policy Imaginaries at the ENCATC Congress 2026 in Nice.
The presentation examines youth-led cultural practices in Serbia and Slovenia and explores how emerging forms of cultural work engage with sustainability, participation, and new policy imaginaries. It considers the relationship between cultural practice and policy, with particular attention to forms of cultural work that are process-based, cross-sectoral, and not always adequately recognized within existing policy frameworks.
The presentation will take place as part of the Congress research sessions on September 23.
